I'M HERE!

I started this blog a couple of years ago, and didn't get very far with it. I am going to give it another go and, hopefully will keep up with it. Please bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of blogging, and as I try to learn how to take some decent looking pictures.

I will start here with a card I made for a swap with some great Michigan demo friends. I used the Pines and Poinsettias stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! holiday mini catalog. The Designer Series Papers used is called Frostwood Lodge, also from the holiday mini. I love the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green combination with the deep brown Early Espresso color.

Supplies used: Pines & Poinsettias stamp set, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler cardstock, Frostwood Lodge DSP, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green ink, Simply Scored, 3/8" circle punch, 3/4" scallop punch, Tasteful Trim Bigz Die, pearls

I made this card for a swap with some other Michigan Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I used several items from the new Spring Mini catalog on this card. I am really enjoying the new Bird punch.

Here's a Christmas card I made using the Delightful Decorations stamp set and Ornament punch from the Stampin' Up! mini catalog. In case you haven't guessed, I like bright colors, and I think that pink is so fun on a Christmas card.

Melon Mambo textured cardstock, ribbon, ink and DSP, Tempting Turquoise cardstock and ribbon, rhinestone brad (brad removed), whisper white cardstock, Delightful Decorations and Season of Joy stamp sets, Ornament, oval and scallop oval punches, silver elastic cord.

Sweet Centers

Look at this cute Christmas card. I made it using the Sweet Centers stamp set from Stampin' Up! using the Sweet Treat Cups. The peppermint patty is the perfect size for these cups but you can fill them with all sorts of things like m&m's, gummies, candy corn, glitter, buttons or any small goody. The Sweet Centers set also has a hot air balloon, Halloween, Valentine, and leaf/flower petals images to use with the cups. Very fun!

Stampin' Up! Sweet Centers Stamp Set, Loads of Love Stamp Set, Sweet Treat Cup, Circle Punch, Real Red polka dot ribbon, Real Red, Whisper White, Brilliant Blue cardstock and Real Red, Brilliant Blue ink, peppermint patty.
